My Skincare Routine

This is what I do to my face every(well, almost every..I'm human, you know!) night before I go to bed. First off, I start by taking off all of my eye makeup. I use the CVS brand oil-free eye makeup remover.
This retails for about $5.99 at CVS of course!
Next, I use my Ponds Evening Soothe makeup remover wipes to get off all of my foundation and the dirt and oil that has collected on my face throughout the day. *Some people wash their face religiously every night and are not seeing results. It's possibly because they aren't taking off their foundation before they wash. Face wash is meant to wash your skin, not wash off your makeup.* *Tip: if you do not want to use makeup remover wipes, just wash your face twice. First with a gentle cream cleanser- this will remove the makeup. Then with a cleanser that goes more deep.*

Retails for about $5-6 at walmart, drugstores, etc.
For my cleanser I use Clean & Clear Advantage 3 in 1 Exfloliating Cleanser. It has gentle exfloliation so it's fine to use it everyday. This cleanser leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.
Retails for about $5 at drugstores, walmart, etc.

Next, I use toner. The one I have been using is Olay Oil-minimizing Toner. It leaves my skin really fresh.

about $4.99 at drugstores, walmart, etc.
If I have problem spots(acne), I will use the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne spot gel.
about $5, drugstores, walmart, etc.

The last step in my skin care routine is moisturizer. I am currently using Ponds Dry Skin cream because my skin has been really dry lately and this is a really thick and moisturizing cream. And although it's thick, it's not heavy at all, and a little bit goes a long way.

retails for about $4-5, drugstores, walmart, etc.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed, and maybe you will want to try out some of these products and see how they work for you. Thanks again!

Update

I know, I know, you're all probably thinking, this girl just started her blog and she's already slacking on posting reguraly. I'm sorry. Truly, sorry. In the next few days, I am going to be trying to get some tutorials together, and some reviews and pretype some blog posts. That way I can have them ready to post when I need them. I just started school back on Thursday and I have had to go to basketball games after school Friday, and all day Saturday so I just really have not had time. But I will get better. Thank you all for understanding.

5 Minute Face

Hello all! So this is my first blog post, and since I am not feeling too well today, I decided to center my post around that. This is going to be a makeup "tutorial" for those times when you don't feel good, but you still have to go to school or out for errands, or whatever it may be.

When you are sick or tired, your skin usually looks dry and lifeless. You need to put on moisturizer so that you look glowy and more awake- but not greasy. A good moisturizer I would recommend is the Olay Complete All Day UV Moisture Cream spf 15 (approximately $6-7 at drugstore, walmart, target, etc). I have went through probably 5 jars of this stuff because I love it so much!

I know that when I am sick or tired, I don't feel like putting on concealor and then messing with liquid foundation. I have found that the L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Compact Makeup has awesome coverage, blends really good, and you can use it as a concealor and a foundation all in one. It blends in with your skin really good, so there really is no need to put it all over your face- just put it where you need it! This actually applys really good with a sponge, so no need to worry about dirtying up your fingers or a brush. The powder is also pretty good, but I've found that with this makeup, you don't really have to have a powder, it looks good on its own. (The compact makeup is about $10, and the powder is about $9).

A little blush will brighten up your face and make you look even more awake. ELF's blush in pink passion is a bright pink blush. A little goes a long way, so all you need to brighten your skin is a tap of a brush in it. You can find this blush for $3 at Target or online at eyeslipsface.com.

For your eyes, I would recommend just dusting a champagne colored eye shadow all over your lid, up into your crease and into your inner corners. Covergirl has one that costs around $3. It is called champagne.

Thick, long eyelashes will open up your eyes and make you look a lot more awake. Maybelline's Great Lash is an awesome mascara for the price(about $4).

As far as your lips go, just throw on some chapstick or your favorite gloss and you'll be ready to go out the door!

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this and stay tuned for more posts! If you have any ideas for posts that you would like me to do, please leave them down in the comments below.

Much love,
coco<3 xoxo
